This book is an amazing resource to have! When I have a question about something, I grab my copy and see if Hannah wrote something about it. Rarely do I need to grab one of my various Veterinary Texts.

Kittens like to snuggle up to the Snuggle Kitty especially when the heart beat is going.

These take 2 AAA batteries. The batteries will last about 2 weeks when on continuously. I make sure the heartbeat is going until the kittens are about 4-5 weeks old. At about that time, the Snuggle Kitty becomes a toy.

I do not use the heat packs. My Snuggle Kitties (which I call Big Mama) sit on a heating pad with the kittens.

These are washer and dryer safer after removing the heartbeat and heat pack.

Miracle Nipples were originally created for squirrel rescue but kitten rescuers quickly realize that they are great for kittens.

The original has a longer nipple and some kitten prefer that.

Not all kittens like the length of the Original Miracle Nipple. I use these nipples the most often with my fosters.

This is the formula I use for my kittens. While unopened, it is shelf stable at room temperature. Once opened, it is good for 6 months in the fridge or 1 year in the freezer. When you mix up the powder, it needs to be used within 24 hours and kept refrigerated between feedings.

While expensive, this is my preferred canned food for weaning. It is high in moisture and calories for weaning kittens. It also mixes very well with the KMR if a slurry is needed.

Once weaned, this is the kibble I feed. It is easy to get at about any store, including Walmart. It is reasonably priced and a good quality food.

This cleaner is safe for animals! It is a hyper-hydrogenated Hydrogen Peroxide. After cleaning up organic debris (food, feces, etc), you apply 1:16 dilute Rescue to the area for 5 minutes and it will kill just about everything, including ringworm.

A 1:16 dilution is 1 cup of concentrate to 1 gallon of water. My preferred method is to fill an empty and clean gallon milk jug 3/4 full with water, add the concentrate and add the rest of the water. This product foams when shaken or when water is added.

When using this product, wear a mask and gloves. When sprayed, the product will burn your lungs. Direct contact with the product with your hands will cause the skin to die and fall off after a few days. Unless you like the feel of dried super glue on your hands, use gloves!
